Your Lawyers: Austin Kaplan, Caitlin Boehne, Ryan Estes and J. Bryan Wood of The Kaplan Law Firm, PLLC. These are the lawyers who are bringing this case on your behalf. You will not be charged for their services, although their fees may be paid with the court's approval.

Learning About the Lawsuit
What is this lawsuit about?
This lawsuit is in its early stages. The Court has not made any findings about whether Scribe Media, LLC (“Scribe”) violated the law or that Bond is Scribe’s alleged successor.
Plaintiffs claim that Bond is legally responsible for Scribe’s conduct as a “successor.” Bond disputes that claim and denies that it has any legal relationship to or liability for the actions of Scribe. Whether Bond is legally responsible is a key issue in the case that remains undecided.
Additionally, Scribe has filed for bankruptcy. This may limit or eliminate any potential recovery from Scribe. As a result, whether class members can recover anything depends in part on the Plaintiffs’ ability to prove their claims against Bond — which remains unresolved and contested.
Being part of the class does not guarantee that you will receive any money. The Plaintiffs must first succeed in proving their legal claims. If they lose or the case is dismissed, class members will receive no recovery.
What happens next in this lawsuit?
The lawyers will continue to pursue legal action and prepare the case for trial, unless the two sides decide to settle the case.
Deciding What To Do
What are my options?
You have two options. You can do nothing and stay in the case, or you can opt out of the case.
Doing Nothing and Staying in the Case
What happens if I do nothing?
If you do nothing, you will remain part of the class and be bound by any result in the case — whether the Plaintiffs win or lose. You won’t be able to start, continue, or be part of any other lawsuit against Scribe and Bond about the issues in this case.
If the Plaintiffs win or settle, class members may be entitled to money. If the companies win, class members will receive nothing.
